1. Enroll in the thawte Personal Certification System – become a “thawte Freemail member”.

2. To add your name to the certificate find a thawte Notary in your area who will validate your identity and award you Trust Points.

3. thawte Notaries can assign between 10 and 35 points to each identity asserted. Once you have accumulated 50 Trust Points you become trusted, and you can put your name on your personal certificate.
